Time to pay the piper! The scenery is similar to the lower Left Fork, but the hike out is much longer.

The clouds give it up as we hike past the site of the landslide that backed up the canyon back in 2010.

After several hours of hot hiking, we make it to the confluence of the Right Fork and the Left Fork. We have come full circle!

And we make the final push up to the top of the outcropping of lava rocks.

The lower Right Fork Trailhead is a welcomed sight. What a long, exhausting, and amazing journey!
