WEST RIM TRAIL (Top-Down from Lava Point)

Looking down through Behunin Canyon to the main canyon. The East Temple stands high in the far distance.

Near the edge of the White Cliffs is the short side trail to Cabin Spring.

Cabin Spring (West Rim Spring) isn't pretty, but it is usually a reliable source of water.

Now the West Rim Trail starts its steep and dramatic descent through the White Cliffs.

Looking down at the slickrock wonderland below...

The CCC-chiseled trail zigzags its way down the tall canyon walls.
