WEST RIM TRAIL (Top-Down from Lava Point)

From the eastern tip of Potato Hollow, we get a great view down into Imlay Canyon!

The trail starts a stretch of uphill as it leaves Potato Hollow.

Looking back down at the valley we just came up from.

After the trail tops out, we now start to get more good views to the west. Flowers adorn the cliff's edge.

At the "Hammerhead" viewpoint, we get a dramatic and perfectly framed view.

And it's time for a bit more uphill to get to the top of Horse Pasture Plateau.

Wonderfully desolate scenery!

As the trail tops out near the Telephone Canyon Trail junction, the scenery gets spectacular.

Amazing views into the Great West Canyon!
