| And soon enough, it's time to leave the drainage again to follow a steep trail-of-use west up the southern side of the MIA canyon. |
| This section is a strenuous uphill slog, but thankfully the trail-of-use is fairly easy to find and follow. |
| The final steep push near the top of the MIA route. |
| And we made it to the top of the cliffs! The old dirt road is just ahead. |
| Time for the final uphill death march back to our vehicles. This last stretch would feel easier if we had fresh legs. |
