| After the slot section we reach the boulder that marks the start of the MIA exit route. Time to freshen up and prepare to pay the piper. |
| After hiking up the bottom of the wash for only a few moments, we scramble up this obstacle and take a trail-of-use up the chute on the right. |
| Heading up the sandy chute that will take us out of the bottom of the drainage. |
| The route takes us high up the north side of the MIA exit canyon. |
| Following the base of a cliffband that will lead us to the pass across the north-south ridge. |
| Looking east towards the pass that will give us access to the upper section of the exit canyon. Although covered in vegetation, the route across isn't too painful... |
| West of the pass, we are back in the bottom of the drainage and can enjoy easy hiking for a hot minute. |
