The sun breaks through for a few moments above Ram's Peak.

We reach the dome-shaped shoulder ridge above Wildcat Canyon.

Looking north from the shoulder, it looks like we are shelved out, but there is a way...

Looking south to all of the interesting formations: Ram's Peak in the center, the Hourglass to the left, and Greatheart Mesa in the distance to the right.

Walking the top of the dome-shoulder north to find the pass that will take us down into Wildcat Canyon.

Now heading south down the hiker-friendly ramp. Note the prominant arch alcove!

Looking back up at the start of the ramp system that we just came down.

Heading cross-country east; the terrain is easy enough to hike just about wherever you want to explore.
