UPPER PINE CREEK (and "Overlooked Peak")
Hiking Information Photos 1 2
Desert bowling alley. |
Near its head, the canyon becomes overgrown with boulders blocking the way. When the hike loses its charm, it's time to turn around. |
Scrambling up and out of Upper Pine Creek to the slickrock bowl to the west. |
Once up the bowl, "Overlooked Peak" becomes prominently visible to the southwest. This is a good destination for day-scramblers! |
Looking down into Spry Canyon from the saddle. |
A great view of Deertrap Mountain from the top of "Overlooked Peak." |
