The ATV track continues west to cross over Poverty Wash under the White Cliffs.

Now we head down the pleasant scenery of Poverty Wash.

Beautifully sculpted walls with a touch of golden glow.

Hiking through one of the open sections of the wash. There are several spots where you can escape the canyon.

Lovely glow in a dark corner of another short slot section.

Coming out of another slot section. Scenery like this is typical of Poverty Wash.

Standing at the big drops above the grotto. Hike up left for the non-technical walkaround on the ridge or head right for the sketchy shelf downclimb followed by a 40-ft rappel into the grotto.
