Please do not make mud drawings or handprints on the walls of the canyon. While you may think this is harmless, the National Park Service considers it to be illegal vandalism and it really does ruin the wilderness experience for others.

Even worse vandalism, including carving and scratching of the canyon walls. Please live by the "leave no trace" ethic. If you witness anybody else doing this, please tell them to stop and consider taking their photo and reporting them to rangers.
