A wonderful view of Bubble Pond and Pemetic Mountain in the distance!

Autumn blueberry bushes take in the great views of Bubble Pond.

Once near the top of the dome, the route eases up a bit as Bubble Pond fades from sight.

Heading up to the top of the south ridge of Cadillac Mountain.

The junction with the Cadillac South Ridge Trail. It's only another half a mile to the summit of Acadia's tallest peak!

The Cadillac South Ridge Trail continues its ascent up the granite ridgeline.

And finally, the top of Cadillac Mountain! Seeing so many cars and tourists walking the summit loop might be a bit of a culture shock after hiking the isolated trail!
