The Cadillac West Face Trail gets down to business right away heading up the forested boulderfield.

Up and across the boulders we go!

A few hundred feet up, the view starts to get interesting. Eagle Lake can be seen to the northwest.

A few sections of the Cadillac West Face Trail could be intimidating to some hikers.

Higher up on the shelf system, we now get a better view of Eagle Lake with Bubble Pond in the foreground. Sargent Mountain can be seen in the distance on the left with North Bubble in front of it.

The trail zigzags its way up faults in the shelf system.
