"Faithful couple"--two sequoias that have intertwined roots and trunks and have seemingly become one.

"Clothespin Tree" carved out by an old forest fire. The tree survives and is slowly trying to close its wound.

Hikers continue the trek along the upper sections of the Mariposa Grove Trail.

Standing in the shadows of giants!

The Fallen Wawona Tunnel Tree. "Tunneled" in 1881, this was the most famous tree in the grove as people just loved driving their cars through it. But weakened by the tunnel, it finally fell in 1969 and now serves as a lesson in tourism.
