The Fallen Wawona Tunnel Tree. "Tunneled" in 1881, this was the most famous tree in the grove as people just loved driving their cars through it. But weakened by the tunnel, it finally fell in 1969 and now serves as a lesson in tourism. BUY PHOTO |
