Below are links to current conditions and weather forecasts for Yosemite National Park as well as alerts and snow condition reports from the National Park Service. Big storms can often result in temporary road closures and emergency situations, so it is important to keep an eye on forecasts especially during the shoulder months of the tourist season.

Status Pages from the National Park Service:

• Yosemite Current Conditions. This page lists any road closures, any emergency closures or situations, as well as the status of all major roads around the park.
• Tioga and Glacier Point Roads Status. This page is especially useful in spring to check up on the status of plowing and when the roads will open. The Historical Opening and Closing Dates page is also useful as reference.
• Tuolumne Meadows Winter Conditions. A blog of weather and snow conditions during the winter months in Yosemite high country.
• Yosemite Snow Depth. A colorful graphic that shows the snow depth in the greater Yosemite area.

YOSEMITE VALLEY:
Yosemite Valley is the heart and epicenter of Yosemite National Park and is at an elevation of 4000 feet.

WAWONA:
Located near the south entrance to Yosemite National Park, the village of Wawona is also at an elevation of 4000 feet.

GROVELAND:
Located west of the Big Oak Flat Entrance to Yosemite, the town of Groveland is at an elevation of 3130 feet.

LEE VINING:
Located east of Tuolumne Meadows and the Tioga Pass Entrance, Lee Vining is at an elevation of 6781 feet.
