LONG POND TRAIL and GREAT NOTCH TRAIL

Walking along the pleasant shoreline path of Long Pond Trail.

As the trail loops away from Long Pond, it becomes a pleasant walk through a dense forest.

Mellow scenery near the northwestern start of the Great Notch Trail.

While not overly stunning, the Great Notch Trail is a pleasant stroll in the woods.

A big staircase heads up the north side to the Great Notch.

At the Great Notch is the junction with trails heading off to Mansell Mountain to the east and Knight Nubble and Bernard Mountain to the west.

Heading down the forested south side to Mill Field and Gilley Field.
