Continuing up the La Verkin Creek Trail, the canyon becomes more overgrown and feels more like a northwestern forest.

Now officially Willis Creek, we are hiking in a dry streambed. This section is
somewhat interesting but is not too photogenic.

Soon Willis Creek opens up and we are near the border of the park. The trail used to continue all the way to Kolob Reservoir, but private landowners have blocked access. It's time to turn around or do the Beartrap Canyon Loop!
