Kanarra Falls, Kanarraville, Utah

I have been visiting Kanarra Creek for a few decades now and I have seen some pretty interesting and sketchy contraptions put up at the falls over the years. The current metal staircase was put in place in October 2024 after the previous aluminum staircase was put in place in October 2021 after the previous metal rung ladder on a log washed away in a flash flood after a decade of service. Before that, various makeshift logs and ladders were installed and often didn't last too long.

The previous aluminum staircase was put in place October 2021 and was mocked for its cheap and tacky industrialized tourism asthetic. Purchase a print of this photo!

And the same spot back in 2010. This is the same log, but the wooden rungs were a bit spicier to climb up and down. Purchase a print of this photo!
