Starting at Lee Pass, the La Verkin Creek Trail starts downhill and heads south to make its way
around the Kolob Finger Canyons.
Nice still life with the leaves and flowers glowing bright yellow...
About four-and-a-half miles into the hike, we come to La Verkin Creek.
If you have the time, take the short spur trail to see the Kolob Arch.
The start of the Hop Valley Trail takes us up into the hanging valley above La Verkin Creek.
A typically pleasant view in Hop Valley with the stream meandering from side to side.
If not for the cows and the cow droppings, this would be a pleasant stretch of trail.
