Just past the Subway, the canyon opens up and the slot experience is over.
But we still have a lot of hiking ahead of us to get out!
Wonderful waterfalls and tiered slickrock steps take us down the Left Fork.
The fault line cuts through the floor of the canyon.
These steps make me feel like I am exiting sacred space and am returning back to the mundane world.
Many canyon treefrogs hang out by the water in the afternoon sun.
Still smiling near the end of the hike. "What do you mean the final section is uphill?"
