In the lower slot section, an old log takes us across the bottomless chasm.
(OK, so it was really only two feet deep!)
Yet another chute slide into the mud! Note: a year later this spot was three feet deeper,
requiring a rappel or handline -- a reminder that the landscape is always changing!
Money shot of the day: Dark Arch hidden in the subterranean section of the canyon.
Beautiful sandstone formations carved out by the flowing water.
"I can't believe you told me that this hike would be easy!"
Near the end of the canyon, we now have some flowing water.
