Continuing up the La Verkin Creek Trail, the canyon starts to head into the northwestern corner
of the park. Now we are entering territory that few people travel to.
Campsite #20 near Beartrap Canyon. This will be our cozy little home base for the next two days.

Here are the remnants of the 1998 Beartrap Canyon log jam. Before 2003, the stream was clogged
and stagnant with a few dead deer floating in it. Yum!
