Hiking down the east bench above Russell Gulch at sunrise gives us a beautiful view of the
South Guardian Angel in the early morning light.

Heading southeast down the little wash. Destination: the Left Fork!
"Are you sure that we're going the right way? Can't you stop and ask for directions?"
Wetsuits on, we enter the dark Das Boot section of the Left Fork.
The happy tourists enjoy hiking through the cold water.
