THE BARRACKS (East Fork of the Virgin River):
The Barracks is a long and beautiful stretch of canyon, yet it is seldom hiked due to
the amount of effort it takes to get through it.
The East Fork of the Virgin River twists and turns down the canyon.
Lots of muddy clay and quicksand to trudge through.
"Parunuweap Wallflowers:" the flowers growing right out of the alcove wall made a perfectly contrived shot.
A corner of the canyon that looks like an abstract oil painting.
The driftwood graveyard... Since we're down-river from a town, tires and beer cans are quite easy to find.
Now the walls are starting to get dark and interesting...
